Honnus has 20 years of start up and finance experience in the high-tech, on-line media, e-commerce and travel industries. She is currently the Co-Founder of Mojodomo Group and the Founder of Twenty20 Limited. She is also the INED and Audit Committee Chairman for Iclick (NASDAQ:ICLK) which is China’s largest independent online marketing technology platform. She is the mentor of she1K which is the world’s first corporate executive angel syndicate with 80% female representation that empowers and funds early stage startups. She was the CFO, Asia and General Manager, China for Travelzoo (NASDAQ:TZOO) and she was the Founding Senior Executive.
Prior to Travelzoo, Honnus worked as the Regional Finance Director for Yahoo Asia for nine years and she was the founding member for Yahoo Asia. At that time, she was heavily involved in setting up the Asia operation and dealing with mergers and acquisitions, including the strategic investment with Alibaba. She has also held various professional positions with American Standard Inc and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Honnus has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Queensland, Australia and an MBA from Northwestern University, United States. Ms. Cheung is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institution of Certified Public Accountants of Hong Kong (FCPA); the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (FCPA); and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (FHKIoD).
